AEK BOCO Ladies F.C. were formed a few years after the initial amalgamation of the Youth and Men’s sections in 2003.
The First Team began playing competitive games in the Gloucester County League where they remained for several years. The previous First Team manager Keith Harris managed the Ladies First team for over 10 years before stepping down during the 2019-2020 season. The majority of players have represented AEK-BOCO Girls F.C. at junior level and have continued to play football for the Ladies.
AEK-BOCO Ladies FC have had a huge level of success over several years which now sees them play at tier 6 of the Women’s Football Pyramid. During the 2015-2016 season the First Team secured County League & Cup Double along with a tremendous run in the FA Cup which seen them reach the Fourth Qualifying Round after beating Shanklin LFC in the Third Qualifying Round 1-0.
2016-2017 was another historic season for the First Team as they again were promoted after finishing runners up in the South-West Regional Women’s Football League Northern Division, they were promoted to the Premier Division.
The First Team have successfully retained their position in the South-West Regional Women's Football League since 2016.
The 2025-2026 season will see the Ladies section enter 3 x competitive teams (First, Reserves & Development Team) into league football for the first time in many years as a big project kicks off to drive the Ladies to the next level.
